Founders Group of Food Companies (“Founders”) is a family-owned group of related food manufacturing and distribution businesses.
A venture launched in 2014, Founders set out to build a family of related food businesses in mature categories to grow over the very long term. Since then Founders has invested in 13+ private companies to create today’s operating group that sells over 100 million lbs of meat and seafood across Canada and the US, with over ~1,000 employees.
Founders is a partnership led by Richard Harris & Derek Senft (Managing Partners) and is backed by Tricor Pacific Capital.
